Can my wife signup for Poker Stars if I already have an acct?
Yes, she is a real person, I think right now would be a good time for her to signup.

Send Stars an email and ask.

My wife and I each have an account on Stars. It has never been a problem, although we play different stakes.

E mail them - ask.
This is what me and my lady did.

It should be no problem.

To reiterate...send them an e-mail and ask, that's what we did.

Why in God's name would you bother emailing them? Of course it's alright.

You've obviously never hand an account shut down and your funds frozen pending investigation after your spouse opened an account at a site you had previously joined. It does happen and it's a real pain in the ass when it does, so I recommend taking steps to avoid even the potential for a problem.

I e-mailed them before I had my wife sign up. They said it's fine, and prevented us from sitting at the same table (not a problem for us.) I think they said something about only 1 bonus per household. This was a couple years ago.

Me and my iguana did this, no problem. Customer support called him to verify, but he is very articulate for an iguana.

This shouldn't be a problem at PokerStars.

You have to ask first, they would not let my brother open an account on my computer until after he emailed them my screen name and told them we were different people. It is not really that big of a deal. Better safe then sorry.
