Just wondering how the action at riverrock has been recently ? I was in Vancouver for their tournaments in November and the action was pretty good. Always a 30 game going and 50 and 100 games being spread too. I don’t expect things to be the same now but I was just curious what kind of action (really only interested in limit holdem) I could expect now . I’m thinking of taking a trip out west for 2 or 3 weeks and it would just really suck if I went all the way out there and all I could get early in the week (Mon-Wed) would be 2-4…

Is there at least a 30/60 game running every day? When does the game usually break? Even during the tournaments it seemed the games wouldn’t start till around 5pm and then would break around 1-2am…is this still the case? Anything higher than 30/60 being spread on any regular basis?

Thanks for the help.

I've only played the 3/6nl, but i know they pretty much always have a 10/20 kill, 20/40 kill or 30/60 kill.

Haven't been recently but I used to deal there and still hangout with alot of the dealers.

30-60 does tend to go everyday but you are right it doesn't usually start before 3-4 pm and is done or really short (3-4 handed) by 4am. Friday/Saturday the 30-60 may or may not be going as they usually have a 50-100 game going.

Im not rolled for the 30-60 game and BC sucks for anything between 4-8 and 30-60. One casino downtown does 10-20 (4 tables but incovient location) and Coquitlam has a 6-12 but its mostly all nolimit or lowlimit around here which really sucks.

Do you know anything about the high stakes no limit games in the lowermainland? I think the riverrock will prolly have 5/10nl or 10/20nl on the weekends, but other then that its all low stakes. Also how tough is the are the 10/20, 20/40 and 30/60 at the riverrock? I'm no limit expert, but i can hold my own and its something i might dabble in from time to time.
