Hi

Ive been reading the book called : The professor, the banker and the suicide king, which is about the "big game" - the highest stakes poker game. Anyway you probably know about it, halfway in, michael craig (the author) descripes a photo that was taken at the bellagio of Andy Beal, Doyle Brunson, Jennifer Haman and Ted Forrest. Apperantly its just after Brunson & the other proslost 4 million $ after a couple of days playing heads up limit against Andy Beal.

Where can i find and see this picture?

Thanks, Mikkel

Hilarious!!!

Truely a great book tho. I was at that Bellagio when Phil Ivey was playing Beal. I remember rumors floating around the sports book that Phil Ivey was playing HU against some rich Texan for $50/100K but obviously couldn't get close enough to verify.

I completely forgot about the incident until reading the book years later when everything just clicked it suddenly dawned on me 'Oh ish! I was there!!!'

Kinda cool feeling (and by cool, I mean in the loser sense where I'm hanging on to being close to a not so historical event and sharing the experience with complete strangers who don't really care for no apparent reason).

I see this is your first post, although you have posted again in this thread. Welcome.

How do you like the book? I have it but haven't started reading it yet.

the book is okay, some of it is exiting, but actually i was a bit disapointed at the details of the poker strategys - there isnt much in deepth poker to it. Also theres to few (none) pictures of the varius players and other stuff that would be nice. Basicly i think its to shallow in all, but still worth reading..

Andy Beal is at the Wynn playing the corporation 50k/100k right now. Currently being discussed in the NVG forum
