I've been at nlsoldiers cabin since sunday so I had a few days without poker...which I coulda used a couple weeks ago but it's been going great as of late so I guess it just added to the level headedness. I told myself I was going to play 3k hands today and tomorrow to get back on track. Most days consist of a number of 50 bet swings...and not much of a consistant pattern of anything...today was quite different. I got obliterated the first session I played, grabbed dinner, talked to gf for awhile, then played again. I lost almost 100 bets that first session and wasn't any worse off. I knew I was playing great and things were just going the other way. I tried playing the party 50's and 100's and ran really hotttttttt my second session. I ran out of gas at 2500 hands and had to quit...up a few bets/3k.
I then went and watched the end of the twins game before coming back to win another like 175 bets/20k in another 2 hours. I played a few hundred hands of 30/60 but most of it was 50/100-100/200.
So, in total today I played almost 7 hours, played 3600 hands, was down 10k/100bets at one point, and ended up 175 bets. What a welcome back to work. Oh and generated 2200 in rake. Yuck. Least I'll get a big check back.
