Yes, if he is willing to call down with weaker aces, which he demonstrated. He shows no strength in position, so I don't see anything wrong with this hand.

What do you have in the first hand?

WTF is a "wet" board?

Edit: The second hand is played well.

Huh? Don't you want this kind of card to hit on the turn? Is there a better card other than an A or K?

Maybe I'm misunderstanding you, but you're not considering this board to be getting dangerous because a four flush became possible on the turn, correct?

it does have the possibility of creating more outs for the villain yes. first of a dry board for tptk would be a a732 rainbow. but we are looking a a middle 2 straight and now by the turn a two flush on board so hands like j10 and qj are not out of the question not to mention the possibility of a diamond draw now since i hold not one diamond in my hand

i think you played it fine. i even think you could bet more on the river. villain would most likely reraise flop or turn w/ either A9 or or QJd which are basically the only two hands im worried about. however, as i feel these hands are very unlikely, i would probably bet closer to 3/4 pot on river. any thoughts?
