View Full Version : pokerstars milestone hand 4.955 billion lets arrange some tables

OK, here's my idea.

The next milestone hand will come in sometime around 4:00 ET Tuesday. I'll be able to fine tune it within 10 minutes by 2:00 ET Tuesday.

1 hour in advance, we meet at some 10NL tables and SIT OUT until PokerStars makes their "2 minute warning". We then all fold-fold-fold to the blinds.

We MUST start this early to avoid the final 10 minute rush. We don't want 2 guys agonizing over 10 cents while we're screaming "FOLD" at our computer screens.

Ideally, we get 6 people and sit in some 6-max tables.

Who's up for this?

I'd be down but won't work idiots will come in, I don't mind losing my dime blinds but that is what was happening today anyway. Close to the milestone tables had 20% flop percentages so you could just sit at any one. Would be nice to have 2+2 tables so we could win together tho lol.

y rig it? Just play normally. this is a form of collusion, and i dont heart collusion.

I'd rather make some micro limit players day by sitting at 8 .02/.04 limit tables and checking "raise any" on every table for 10 minutes before the jackpot hits.

But you guys will definitely pwn pokerstars by your SUPER ++++EV strategy!!!!!!

Collusion? this is a money give away, not poker. We're actually colluding to lose to whomever wants to tag along and play.

Sounds good to me, Im gonna loose my chat if I dont find more tables like these. Its far more important on Thursday or Friday to get tables like these together when the games will og off every 75 minutes

Silent A

Yes, i agree, but it would be good to practise this at least once.

It's still looking like the next hand will come at 4:00pm ET. here's what I suggest:

- At 2:00 ET, I will post my predicted time. As I said before, it will be accurate by then.

- 1 hour before the hand comes I will start opening 10NL tables (preferably short-handed). Look for new 10NL tables with "SilentAcorns" sitting. I will post the table names here. I will also type "2+2=4" regularily in the chat window.

- alternatively, I (or anyone else) can post the name of the table I'm about to start and then we can all attack it and fill it up before someone pops by.

Any other ideas about how we can get a table together and avoid "the others"?

what is the advantage of this besides that you dont play? you can fit in more hands around the milestone because you fold, so your hand doesnt take 30-60 seconds to finish like at normal tables?

your colluding to lose dimes to win the big prize. just like how it's illegal to collude at the bad beat tables or high hand at party. colluders!

How can you tell that its coming in around 4 pm? Is there a hand counter somewhere?

Well, it's not my intention to be a colluder so I've dispatched an email to support to ask them if they felt openly agreeing to fold to the blinds is OK or not. I'll let you know how they respond.

It's pretty simple.

1. open a table (any table - you don't have to sit at it)
2. look at the instant hand history
3. pick any two hands (the HH are dated with the time and the hand #)
4. plug this into a spreadsheet to calculate when the milestone hand will occur at the current rate of hands/minute

*** extra step that isn't so easy ***

5. If it's a long way off (more than 3 hours or so) use your knowledge of how the hands/minute changes with the time of day (I've kinda figured this out - it's pretty consistent) to get a better estimate.

At the current rate, it'll occur around 4:30pm ET, but more people will join between now and then so I'm still estimating around 4:00pm.

Silent A
05-16-2006, 02:02 PM
OK, for now I'm still going to post my estimate for the next milestone hand. Things are accelerating pretty quick so I've moved up my estimate to:

3:40pm ET

I have not heard back from pokerstars, and until I do I won't do any more organizing for what might qualify as collusion.

You know the correct strategy. I know the correct strategy. Hopefully we'll end up at the tables together.

More players will come in as it becomes evening in North America. I'm predicting 11:30PM ET +/- 20 minutes for the next milestone.

At 10:00 ET I'll post a final predicted time and a time I'll start hosting tables/looking for dennisa.

As for the all important 4.99B, if the current pattern persists, it should come around 8:30pm ET Friday evening (based on an average of about 7800 hands/minute each day).

If you guys want to try to join a post and fold table join the AIM chat "Milestone Hand". It looks like it would be easiest to join .50/1 tables or 1/2 tables and as long as we say it in the chat and all join an empty one at the same time I think we can do it
