Anyone in the St. Louis area playing there this week? There's a NLHE tournament Wednesday.

havent been able to get out there in the past month or so. Im in Springfield, Il. so the gas is a bit much to play 5/10 or 6/12. I heard the structure of their MTT's are crappy. Low stacks, fast blinds.

I've been there a few times. Once when the 20/40 game was running on saturday a month or two ago and few weeks ago in the 5/10 game. I just wish they could get the 20/40 going more often on weekends.

Just a stupid question, but how do you get a 20/40 game going when there's a $500 loss limit? Even a double boarding would only get you $1000. People never cash out, I suppose?

never seen this game exactly, but have seen lots of guys pull out many a black chip from the pockets, Also, i think the game sometimes gets going after players in other games have built up large chipstacks

It's a buyin limit and it resets on the even hours. you can buyin for 500 at 7:59 and 500 at 8:00. most regulars keep chips and if you know some regulars you can buy some in the bathroom /images/graemlins/smile.gif They have a really big PLO game there on mondays so there are a lot of take home chips.

I ended up going with my Dad on Wednesday afternoon. We piddled around in the $1/$2 NL game for about five hours; I bought in for $100 and walked out with $370. Good times.

When I was there I started at 5/10, got something to eat, and when I came back got another $500 to sit in the 20/40 with about 1k.
