Anyone done the bonus at party bingo. You can get a $300 bonus by depositing $500 (combines the win200 and igm pay bonus). what is the best strategy for completing the $4800 wagering requirement without going bust?

Party has had Bingo for a little while now. You could try to search some old threads on it. -- Just searched, there a few threads where people decided that there is little value in doing it.

Yeah I did it, but I only got the 200% up to 200 for 3k requirement. Did it all playing Vegas Video Poker. Just used their autohold feature and it worked out fine. Wound up with $310 but I did hit four of a kind 3 times. Variance is pretty large, I did $1 bets but maybe $.50 would have been better since I got dangerously close to bust a few times.

Also remember that they give free bingo bonus cards. It's nickel/dimes mainly and a few .50 cards but u get like 160 a day so its almost a free $50 value.(500 over 3 days) Wound up getting lucky and winning $50 off bingo with the free cards.

I think with the bonus it is only marginally +EV so most people don't bother doing it.

just finished it...
DONT DO IT!!!
i deposited $100 and got the $200 bonus added to my account.
i was down to $80 (making $0.50 bets on the video-poker) before i had wagered half of the required amount.
i then started "autoplay" on slot-machines (does not count towards wagering requirements) and hit something big that put me back on $235...
now i went back to the video-poker and lowered the bets to $0.25 and grinded for some hours...
was at $155 when i met the wagering requirements (was lucky and hit some nice quads a couple of times)...

if they made this a 400% bonus i would recommend it but not otherwise...

Party Bingo uses crappy, atypical payout charts for their video poker games. Terrible games.

The games are absolutely horrible. I tried to get CS to cancel the bonus and let me withdraw my original deposit (I was up about $5 at that point), they wouldn't let me.

So I ended up getting MAJORLY lucky, hit quads about 10 times and ended up with $436 after my original deposit of $100. I would never, ever play there again. The videopoker game I played only payed Ace Pair (1) and Two-pair (1), terrible.

I would guesstimate that the bonus has a very low EV, with high variance. No math to prove that, though. There are much better bonus' out there.

I sent a email to the admin of casinobonuspages and he told me the HA was between 3.5%-4%. If he wasn't lying to get referrals, then the EV is still 195-180 dollars which is very good. 80-95 profit along with the $50 value of bingo cards which I'd guess to be around 10-20 additional.

well,
I'd trust greg's info without question. So if the HA is 3.5 to 4. Then which game is best and what is basic strategy for it? Just trust the auto hold?

i used the http://wizardofodds.com/videopoker/analyzer/CindyProg.html
to check the videopoker return...

Hand PAY Probability Return
Royal Flush 1000 0.00003 0.02894
Straight Flush 100 0.00013 0.01339
Four of a Kind 50 0.00231 0.11563
Full House 10 0.01129 0.11290
Flush 6 0.01296 0.07777
Straight 4 0.01370 0.05479
Three of a Kind 2 0.07208 0.14415
Two Pairs 1 0.12546 0.12546
Jacks or Better 1 0.20269 0.20269
nothing 0 0.55935 0.00000
Total: 0.87573

Return: 87.5731%
Variance: 37.7239

please note that PartyBingo videopoker does not pay on jacks/queens/kings as regular jacks-or-better does...
but i guess their "you-got-it bonus" compensates for that...

anyway... HA close to 12,5% makes this -EV
im not 100% sure on my calculations though /images/graemlins/ooo.gif
