View Full Version : A more realistic Magoo Fest HU challenge from CAPONE

OK.

Some putz is unwilling to reveal their innermost self unto their god*

(* per planet of the apes, part II, "beneath the planet of the apes") /images/graemlins/grin.gif

But still this putz is trying to get me to take them on in a heads up match. How pathetic.

Let's make it more realistic...

Prior to the next magoo-fest, and I mean JUST prior, like RIGHT BEFORE, on the day of the fest, live and in person at the MGM, I, Al_Capone_Junior WILL take on SOMEONE in a heads-up challenge match, best three out of five!!

Structure, games and starting stacks to be determined!

I guarantee the stakes to be at least $1 per match, with a maximum of ??$ per match!

I guarantee that there will be far more at stake in the side bets, spreads, proposition bets etc than there ever will be at the poker table between me and my worthy opponent!!

So who's it going to be? You got the friggin' BALLS?

Only time will tell, but IT'S ON! YOU'VE BEEN SERVED!!! /images/graemlins/grin.gif

Rules...

1. you must be a real person who is willing to reveal not only their real face, real identity, and their true 2+2 handle to ALL, but they must be willing to reveal their innermost self unto their god!!! /images/graemlins/grin.gif

2. You must be considered by both me and everyone else to be a WORTHY OPPONENT. It does not matter if you are HIGHLY favored to beat me, as long as you meet all the other requirements, and you are considered worthy.

3. You must be able to produce the proper buy-in at the time of play.

4. You must have the balls to actually show up and play against me, live and in person! /images/graemlins/grin.gif

5. (optional) you might want to wear a cup /images/graemlins/grin.gif

6. You must be interesting enough (and have some sort of notable personality) so as to make it worth the effort of hyping up a match, arranging the whole shebang, etc etc bla bla bla.

7. This promotion may morph into anything at all that's both fun and magoo-esque in honor of a worthy kick-off event for the next magoo fest!

Like I said, IT'S ON!

I might need a dealer. But the dealer might also want to possibly wear a cup, just in case I lose. /images/graemlins/grin.gif

I like this idea !!!

Spectators are allowed to drink, make side bets and also rude comments -- right?

Yeah, I'll challenge you. 5 different games. NLHE, limit O8, limit stud/8, PLO, NL 2-7. Random draw for game order.

Am I a worthy opponent? I won the KotZ HU this year.

You can poll the 2+2 'ers who've met me to decide if I'm interesting enough if my posts don't convince.

There's no way this is going to happen, Al, although I would be there for the magoo if it got organized. I mean, who needs a drop-out from 8th grade shop class to get a good donkfest off the ground?

This guy tossing the taunts(Lonely Roundass) is taking advantage of the Christmas break to get a few grenades posted. We should work more on the profile than actually responding to him. It's like getting into a political debate with your cat. It just wont go well.

Dr. Al or someone with clinincal training (or better yet from Quantico) can help out, but I'm going to guess...

- 20 years of age +/- 2 years
- unerachiever. Likely barely cracked high school. Flunked out or got tossed out of college.
- lives at home, probably in the basement but he could still have a main floor room. One of his parents died when he was young and the remaining parent either drinks or has serious mental problems.
- He has no money. I don't mean a little, I mean none. This person could not spot you change for a quarter.
- Homosexual but in denial. Likes to hang around with an old school friend but he cannot quite figure out why. Whenever the friend's girlfriend comes over he goes into a rage and starts breaking stuff.
- Spends only short periods of time online. He's using another person's computer or he is hijacking an account. 2+2 wont be the only forum where he taunts people.
- Plays a lot of video games. This relieves the boredom and keeps his mind occupied so that "the voices" are not as loud. Remember Berkowitz? This guys also hears his dog talking now-and-then, only this guy does not have a dog.
- Loves poker but does not really understand the game. That's why he's at this forum. He's curious but does not have the mental capacity to grasp three quarters of what he reads here. Also, he will never have enough money to play for any meaningful stakes (above a $100 buy-in).

Feel free to add more. We'll have him figured out soon enough.

You want a dealer? Well, I've been known to deal a little now and then.

Btw, there will be no nut kicking and I plan on having "a few" drinks while dealing.

I'll play you provided the game lineup includes Indian poker and baseball.

Sounds about right.

Also, goes to the porn store often, but never quite gets up the gumption to buy this month's playboy, because he's browsing in the "men's" section. /images/graemlins/shocked.gif

I'd say that you're a leading contender so far, heck, two former KOTZ champs going heads-up in the grudge match of the century*!

But I already have an offer that includes baseball and indian, so the competition is probably going to be fierce! /images/graemlins/grin.gif

Spectators are NOT allowed to watch UNLESS they are drinking AND have some sort of side bet / stake in the pools etc.

We need the card-cams for this one!

You are the leading candidate for dealer since you promise to be half drunk and I know you can at least deal "a little." /images/graemlins/grin.gif

I can attest from my experience at the Craps tournament held during the last Magoofest that it is generally profitable to bet AGAINST Al. Kicks in the balls aside.

Hey when the hell is the next Magoofest anyway? I need to brush up on that can-opening activity demonstrated by jakethebake at the last gathering.

**** you, you el bastardo. I lost friggin' $23 on one of your stupid YO rolls, and I still owe you a kick in the nuts. /images/graemlins/grin.gif Anyone wanting action on drew's bets, I'll back you, thus doubling the amount drew will inevitably LOSE when he makes the foolish mistake of betting against me TWICE.

p.s. I'll kick you in the nuts

What a friggin' magoo anyway. But who's the bigger magoo, him for opening the can, or me for drinking out of it AFTER he opened it?

al

p.s. my brother has a really magoo-esque grin on his face too. What a friggin' magoo
