I'm looking for some some first deposit bonuses of around $500, do many poker rooms have these? Thanks for any tips!

Not to many sites have large deposit bonuses that I know of. Fulltilt springs to mind with the $600. Then theres bodog with the bottomless %10 I think..Linesmaker has a %20 up to $400 as well as an additional $80 if you play 800 raked hands. Thats the only 3 I know of right now as I typically stay around 200-300 deposit bonus. Im sure someone will chime in with more sites.

I get the $1000 from Hollywood, with 2 months to clear and just about do everytime when Im not busy. They will give you reloads when you ask. The $600 at FT doesnt seem that hard either. The UB $500 looks like it will take me til Im old and gray to finish. Just make sure you get rakeback with the bonus for full value.

Absolute has 100% up to $750 going on, but it's slow to clear at 1/2 and almost impossible at any lower limit.

DO NOT do the big hollywood poker bonus, since there are many other bonus's on the network with much better terms
100% up to 600 from eurobet with an affiliate
100% up to $2500 from networkpoker
100% up to $600 from 2 different b2b sites, wont last long, check bonuswhores.com forum for details (one is best poker i think)

Gotta look at the bigger picture with Hollywood combine the bonuses, with rakeback that bonuses are not deducted from, and trade in your points that you use to clear bonuses with for tourney tix. Plus the 1K-5K freerolls every month, and if the GSOP happens again, you may get into tourneys with 75-250K overlays.

10x standard ongame bonus's at full ring are 70% noncontributed rakeback

17x bonus= 41% noncontributed + 25% rakeback= 66%

With extras they are probably very close to the same for full ring.

SH hollywood big bonus would be slightly better.

The problem is that If you take a smaller hollywood bonus with rakeback it'd be even better for your time and you would still be able to do all the other 10x bonus's which are comparibly about the same. Also waiting for things like rakeback payments is more inconvienent then clearing a bonus and withdrawing. Also 1k and 5k freerolls with thousands of players are hardly a reason to play at a site.

So ya, I am looking at the big picture.

The last 5K freeroll I was in, had a hair over 200, and the 4K had just shy of 300. In the past 4 months, Ive traded in my points for 6 $50+4 tourney tix, and I still have enough to trade in for 2 more. So its appr another $100 in tourney tix Im clearing a month to add on.

Not sure how getting 2-300 deposited in my neteller acct once a month is an inconvenience. Have to clear that one up for me.

What about UB's 100 percent first time bonus?

UB=slow
If you play higher then 3/6 then hit up the I-poker sites like CD,Titan, Noble, ect with your roll for big bonus's. If you play small limits then be satisfied with going to a bunch of different sites for 100 or 200 $ bonuses. Would you rather spend forever clearing 1 $500 bonus or clear 5 $100 bonuses much faster?

Again, any 5x b2b skin is good for NL, ok for limit (cause of game tightness). Eurobet has a $600 bonus with rakeback. If you wanna go crazy and spend a year at a site then go to hollywood like an above poster said cause he loves it so much.

UB 100% bonus. I am finding it almost impossible to clear. Only upside is that as you clear it you get it, as oppose to getting it in increments. Still just means you are gettig the money you clear at the time you clear it as oppose to increments. I dont think I will ever clear my initial deposit bonus.

word

Some of the large bonuses clear very slowly,
and so don't turn out to be that much of a "Bonus"
