Have a nice day

20 minutes to the $109 PL.

Registered so far: foucalt, Skjonne and that's it.

OMG WFT LMFAO!!!~~~!

When is Lee Jones going to get, that nobody wants to play PL? PL is so 1980 goddammit

Foucault

I like PL. But not when I am 3rd in chips and get JJ in the BB vs. the chipleader who has KK in the SB and flop is rags.

Skjonne
05-06-2006, 09:56 AM
I like PL too. But the fish doesn't and that's the main problem with PL.

And I'm card dead as hell

That tournament was far from fishless.... Try not to be results oriented when you see the hand I am posting that I played against that one guy. /images/graemlins/mad.gif

I'll go check it out. Fun thing is that the incredibly bad donk who got berated is the person who knocked me out of a $55 with 42s vs my KK (as refered in my first post in this thread)

A question about scoring for Jurollo or anyone who knows:

I just got my pathetic results so far emailed to me and there doesn't seem to be any differentiation between rebuys and non-rebuys. How will Jurollo know, for example, that my points from the 11r are category B rather than A when all that is listed is the buyin amount ($10). The only thing I can think of is having a list by tourney number of all the rebuys and setting up something in Excel to look them up, but that seems awfully complicated to do for 60 people, and it may be too late anyway. Has this been addressed?

Jurollo
05-06-2006, 01:24 PM
Team,
I will not be playing today. I am throwing a huge party called "Rollopalooza" that consists of BBQ, 2 Kegs, an ice luge and lots of debauchery. I will play a lot tomorrow.
~Justin

Jurollo
05-06-2006, 01:26 PM
Ahhh yes, I am well aware of this problem. Luckily stars only runs rebuys at certain times, so conceivably I can figure it out. It sucks because scoring is going to really suck as it is.

[/ QUOTE ]

If we keep track on our own and highlight which are rebuys it will make it quicker for you. That's a lot of work you've taken on though. Also, I assume captains will be calculating team scores on their own as a doublecheck which will probably catch any misclassified results.

This is Stars fault for not treating the rebuys correctly in the TLB scoring to begin with. Getting 100 points for 27th in a 1000 person 11r is messed up.

FT 22/180 #24291447. Cl-er w/ 53K.

I JUST busted out of the $55 right on the bubble in 37th. It folded to me on the button, what can I say, K2s is the nuts.

I am 2/100 in the $5 tourney that started at 3:10 PM. I think this might be it for me today, so wish me luck!!

So are we doing something cool at the conclusion of this? I remember (but forget the thread), we were discussing some kind of "All Star Game" at the end of this, where each team would choose a player to represent the team.

I think some kind of added money SNG or something would be awesome

Well, not quite. But more than I have ever played that's for sure. I'm at 50 now. In the draft thread, I said I would do 60 in May. I think I'll manage that.

And, my ROI is getting better. Up to -83.3%. Maybe I don't suck after all?

Edit to add:

Total hours played, April: 37.75
Total hours played, May: 32.25

Team Montage,

Another meaningless cash (130 in 3RA). I think I have 20 TLB events so far, and I hope none of them count by month end. I also think I underestimated the MTTs I would play by about 300 or so, I am scared to check my stats so far.

Did win a 1M garunteed sat though, so my bankroll isnt quite as dreary now.

I have accepted that I am actually a losing player. At this point there's no pretty much no other explanation.

In other news I'm at a 4/180 ft. If I win I'll win back about 1/10th of what I'm down today.

Edit: Actually, I am playing more like a cross between a donk, a maniac, and a puss. When I close my eyes I see spades. It's not good.

Sweating, you better not resteal with Q9 when chipleader vilain has AK this time k!

Edit: Nice start lol

The Q9 was soooooted. Probably not the best move I've made today, but I wanted him off my blind /images/graemlins/smile.gif

I guess I priced that guy in with the gut shot in the other hand by going for the check raise.

Finished 4th in a 4/180 and 16th in a $2 tourney for 114 tourney points...have no idea if that is halfway decent for A's, hopefully neither stand at the end of the month.

I forget. I had Queens to knock out the 3rd guy for a lot of chips. I finished 2nd. Damn.

I am running disgustingly badly. That is all.

A_PLUS
05-06-2006, 11:48 PM
The funny thing is, if you look at my overall results, I am technically running pretty good. I am winning with AT vs AQ at pretty much the same rate as I am loosing with hand of that ilk. In fact, I have a bizzarly high 26% ITM rate. But, I have lost a huge hand in every event I cashed in, where I either ran a very good hand into a great hand in an unlikely spot, QQ-AA in BoB, etc. Or got sucked out on majorly. I just need to start catching my hands in reverse order. I am being set up to have the worst $/hr rate in history.

26% ITM, -22% ROI

Seriously, I can't take much more of this. All I do is lose to 2-4 outers anytime I get anywhere close to a good finish.

Thats the other side of the same coin. All of your good luck gets wasted on the <5$ tourneys. I just opened a 1$ and 20$ MTT, in the first hour, I flopped 2 sets, and a nut flush, guess which one I did it in.
