While looking for any interesting poker press releases, I find this press release (http://www.prnewswire.com/cgi-bin/stories.pl?ACCT=LVRJCNO.story&STORY=/www/story/05-05-2006/0004355295&EDATE=FRI+May+05+2006,+07:55+AM) where several Internet poker/casino sites are offering "free" money. A couple are offering $500 free (you have 1 hour to attempt to win as much money as you can). http://www.onlinegamblingsolutions.com/bonus.htm is where you can find the sites in question. My question is, is this some sort of attempt to round up those who bonus whore, or am I just being paranoid?

Im not so sure about this one... Ive clicked the captain hook casino and here is what I have found in the terms and conditions:
-The maximum amount that can be won and transferred into your real account for this promotion is $200. Any amount over that will be null and void.
-You need to place 100 or more bets to be able to transfer your winnings into your REAL casino account, so keep betting until you are sure you have reached this minimum requirement.
-You will need to deposit a minimum of $20 into your casino account in order to claim your winnings
-Bonus amounts credited to a Player’s bonus account are subject to 30 times play through before they may be cashed in.

Altough, maybe there are other interesting offers..
