$20 for 5000 points, twice if you like. Not a good deal if you ask me.....the goods are worth alot more than that.

They still have a store, but its only $20 bux for 5k..Id rather save up for something in the store..

I wont be getting anything as I have 200+ shy of 5k and I no longer play there. BOOO

ugh.

I wasted all my points on freerolls.
At least I won one.

5k points for $20 or 45k points for a 60 GB video iPod. Seems like an easy decision.

Here's a quick thing I did up for getting value from ARP's... The ARP Tourney's have a fixed prize pool, so the number of entrants affects their value.

Although you have to factor in the extra time it takes to play the tourney versus, just buying soemthing from the store, (giving you even more of a reason to find one with a low number of entrants)

$ per ARP point:

0.0200 MTT-ARP(25 entrants)
0.0100 MTT-ARP(50 entrants)
0.0090 MTT-WSOP SATTELITE (VIP) $108 / 12k
0.0089 Store-Ipod (VIP) $400 / 45k
0.0083 MTT-10k (VIP) $50 / 6k
0.0081 MTT-100k (VIP) $162 / 20k
0.0067 MTT-ARP(75 entrants)
0.0040 $20 cash $20 / 5k

It's hard to get the exact value of things like the clothing, magazines, etc, but you can see that this $20 deal is pretty bad.

5k points = prob 50 hours 2 tabling for $20...same action at WSEX = prob $500 min or more... just had to get that in

5K points also clears $500 of bonus, then there's RB.

Where is the cash for points option? I'm not seeing it in the store.

It's account specific, and you have to request it by email

My situation: I have 47k points but I am not a platinum or elite member. So I can't buy the really good stuff like the 60GB video ipod. I'm considering taking the cash for the points because I don't want to play a zillion hands on their site or waste time in tournaments. $40 free with no work or time invested sounds ok though.

Thanks for the list. I played in one ARP MTT and made some $$$ but don't play MTT's as a rule. Also, whenever I look it's 100+ entrants so it's pretty close to cash conversion. I suppose I could monitor those tourneys better. The IPod is the only store item I might have an interest in. Am giving serious considration to just taking some cash, the MTT's aren't worth near as much when you factor in time......

i have 9200 pts and was just gonna leave AP anyway cos im bout to move down limits again due to unforeseen real life circumstances that require a large part of my BR so my question is......

how long would it take to accumulate 800 ARPs at 2/4sh or 3/6sh and is it really worth it to gather them together with another $100 or so in bonus money plus that other thingy.....im not gonna be playing again at AP till i work my way back up to 2/4sh BR

From my experience playing 1/2 SH there I earned 107% rakeback...
