I was messing around on wizardofodds.com today and it seems that (if I'm using the calculator correctly) that PartyCasino offers two video poker games with a +EV - Deuces Wild and Joker Poker if you're playing 5 coins. If I'm right, the variance is huge, and the edge is tiny but it's +EV nonetheless. Can someone who knows more about this sort of thing than me check up on it and see if I'm right or wrong here? It'd be nice to have a +ev game to mess around with once in a while, so if this is truly a +ev game I'll probably play it occasionally.

Party deuces paytable returns 96.7651%.

Party JoB returns 97.2984%.

Party Joker returns 99.8204%.

Joker Poker is your best option, but none of the games are +EV. you must have inputted the WoO calculator incorrectly.

Random question - but why would they offer this virtually break even game when they have a captive audience that will probably play whatever they put in front of them?

I'm guessing they would offer it because it requires optimal play to return 99.8204% and the average player probably doesn't play anywhere close to optimal.

They could have easily offered a 15/7/5 payout for 4K/FH/Flush for a 96.4% return. Given that their other games have horrible paytables, I'd say that this rather generous one is an oversight. They'll probably cripple it sometime in the future.

this game in particular is VERY hard to play optimally. id say that they average player will play at about 95% return. i promise you, party doesnt have to worry about only making .12% on this game.

if party does start to offer some incentive (like cashback or a ton of party points or bonus clearing, etc) for playing in the casino, it might be worth it to learn the game perfectly, however.
